ABOUT KRISTINA
I'm a nerdy mom on a quest to make the world more magical and beautiful with music.
Kristina A. Bishoff, producer and composer, graduated with a B.A. in Commercial Music from BYU. She had the opportunity to learn from prolific composers Hans Zimmer, James Newton Howard, and Chris P. Bacon through UVU's Film Scoring Internship program. This internship provided a unique in-depth look into the scoring process of huge blockbuster films by being in the recording studio meeting and observing Hollywood's elite musicians and others in the Los Angeles film and music industry.
Inspired by these and other great composers, Kristina composed and produced the original book soundtrack to the New York Times Bestselling Series, Green Rider, by Kristen Britain. This idea expanded into the Green Rider Book Soundtrack & Art Book project, which raised almost $100,000 through crowdfunding. The Green Rider fans rallied around the idea of music for their favorite series and Kristina expanded the project to include artwork, accessories, cosplays, events, and other unique items that brought this beloved fantasy world to life. She also wrote music for another book soundtrack, Kaladin, which raised over $100,000 on Kickstarter to create music inspired by Brandon Sanderson's famous novel The Way of Kings. She’s written music for Salt Lake Pops, Deseret Book’s “Pretty Darn Funny” web-series, commercials for businesses, alternative pop and classical crossover christian music.
Kristina is now the music producer heading the DIVINE project. DIVINE is the first collection of music celebrating the cherished truth that we are children of loving heavenly parents, a divine Father and a divine Mother. She has gathered a community of songwriters and artists to write uplifting music for this project with the hopes that this will have a positive impact for good in the world. https://www.kristinaabishoff.com/divine-project
